If you've misplaced your card, you can always freeze it to temporarily prevent debit card transactions from processing. Once you've located the card, simply unfreeze it.
To freeze your card:
- On the Albert home screen, tap "Checking."
- Tap the image of your debit card.
- Under the "Features" section, toggle on "Freeze card."
If your card is lost, stolen, or damaged, you can easily request a free card replacement within the app. To replace your card:
- On the Albert home screen, tap "Checking."
- Tap the image of your debit card.
- Under "Features," tap "Replace card," and answer the prompts.
If you're replacing your card because it was lost or stolen:
- We'll deactivate your current card and mail you a new one at no cost to you!
- Additionally, your virtual debit card will be automatically updated with its new number so you can make online purchases right away.
- Don't forget — you'll need to update recurring services and transactions linked to your previous card number.
If you're replacing your card due to damage:
- We'll send you a brand-new debit card at no cost to you.
- Your card number won't change, so you won't need to update any services or recurring transactions linked to that card.
