How do I get renters insurance?

Apartments, condos, houses — whatever you call home deserves protection from those things we don't want to think about. Fires, floods, and theft, to name a few. (Those belongings you've taken years to curate need taking care of too.)

Renters, condo, and homeowners insurance policies are relatively inexpensive, so they're a no-brainer safety net in case something unsavory happens. We partner with Lemonade to offer you coverage.

 

To get a quote or policy in the app:

  1. Tap the Insurance card on the home screen.

  2. Choose Renters insurance or Homeowners insurance.

  3. Finish a brief questionnaire (including verifying your home address and uploading your personal details), then you'll be able to view your quote.

  4. Follow the remaining screens to get your policy with Lemonade.

 

Please note: Unlinking a home or renters insurance policy from the Albert app won't directly cancel your policy. You'll need to contact the insurance company to make changes to your policy.
