Family plan pricing
Family plans are billed as one single monthly transaction to the account owner who set up the plan. Participating Family plan members can access Albert without being charged an additional fee. Learn more here.
How to upgrade to a Family plan
Current Albert customers can upgrade their monthly plan to a Family plan in the app.
To do so, go to the profile tab (👤) > “Family” and follow the prompts to upgrade your plan.
Adding and removing members
Family plan owners can add or remove members, and members can leave a Family plan at any time in the app. Family plans have 1 owner and can have a maximum 4 additional participating members.
To add or remove members from your Family plan as the owner:
- Go to the profile tab (👤).
- Tap “Family."
- Add or remove family members.
To leave a Family plan as a member:
- Go to the profile tab (👤).
- Tap “Family.”
- Select “Leave family.”
If you leave a Family plan or are removed, you’ll need to set up an individual paid plan to continue accessing many Albert features. If you’d like to deactivate or close your account, see here for more information.
Canceling a Family plan
Family plan owners can cancel their plan in the app. Keep in mind that if you cancel your plan, other family members will be required to set up individual paid plans for their accounts to continue accessing many Albert features.
To cancel your Family plan:
- Go to the profile tab (👤).
- Tap “Family."
- Tap “Remove family plan” and follow the prompts.
