The “Accounts” screen gives you a snapshot look at all your financial accounts, including your Albert accounts and external accounts connected to the Albert app. You can link additional accounts by signing in to your bank for the account or manually inputting your account details.
To view your accounts in the app:
- Navigate to the “Overview” tab (📊).
- Swipe over to “Accounts.”
- Tap “Add account” to sign in to or manually add a new account.
If your banking institution is not listed when you’re prompted to sign in to your bank, you have the option to add your account manually.
What does “Allocation” mean?
Your allocation provides a quick visual of your assets (cash and investments) vs. your debts, and your net worth is calculated and displayed as your assets minus your debts.
You can tap “Allocation” for a more detailed breakdown of your assets and debts. Your balances include all accounts by default, but you can manually exclude any accounts if desired. To exclude an account from your balances and budgeting calculations, tap on an account and toggle “Include in calculations.”
